Most full-service engagements require approximately 90–120 consulting hours. The actual number of hours depends on the number of programs involved, the condition of your existing policies and systems, and the amount of development and implementation support needed.
A GAP analysis or mock survey is not required as part of full-service consulting. Organizations that would benefit from an additional readiness review may add a virtual GAP analysis or onsite mock survey separately.
Virtual GAP Analysis
Price: $1,500 for one full day or $2,500 for two full days
The Virtual GAP Analysis provides an independent review of your organization’s current CARF readiness without the added cost of travel or an onsite evaluation.
The one-day option is ideal for organizations seeking a focused readiness review of up to three programs or services. The two-day option allows additional time for organizations with more extensive documentation, multiple programs, or a need for a more in-depth assessment.

Areas of strength, potential gaps, and priorities for improvement are identified based on your organization’s current level of readiness.
Following the review, your organization receives a written findings report with identified gaps, priority areas, and practical recommendations for next steps.
A GAP analysis is not required for successful CARF accreditation preparation. However, it can be valuable for organizations that want an independent CARF readiness assessment, confirmation of areas needing attention, or help determining the level of additional consulting support that may be beneficial.
Onsite CARF Mock Survey
Price: $2,500 for two full days onsite**
The Onsite CARF Mock Survey is designed for organizations that want a more comprehensive, survey-style review of their readiness before the official CARF survey.
During the two-day onsite review, Compass Consultants evaluates up to three programs or services, reviews applicable documentation, observes operations, and assesses how well your organization’s practices align with CARF expectations. The process is intended to mirror key elements of the survey experience while identifying areas that may need additional attention.
Following the mock survey, your organization receives a written findings report outlining strengths, identified gaps, priority concerns, and recommended corrective actions. Up to three hours of follow-up consultation are included to review findings, answer questions, and help your team prioritize next steps.
A mock survey is not required for successful CARF accreditation preparation, but it can provide added confidence for organizations that prefer an in-person readiness review or want to test their preparation before the official survey.
